Last day to order local!

Have you tried a sunchoke yet from Thistle Whistle or Abundant Life Farms?

Sunchokes, which are related to sunflowers, are prebiotic and rich in vitamic c, phosphorus, iron and potassium.

Roast them like potatoes or try your hand at sunchoke chips!
-Slice 2 lbs. of unpeeled sunchokes into thin rounds, dropping into a bowl of water
-Rinse, drain and dry sunchokes
-Fry in 375 degree vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes
-Let drain and dry
-Sprinkle with salt, herbs and any seasonings you wish!
