Tomato Time! First of the Season!

Greetings local food lovers!

The Market is OPEN!

Tomatoes are officially on the market, thanks to Lynn at The Living Farm!

Things you will realize when you encounter a REAL, fresh tomato:
-Tomatoes are not perfectly round
-Tomatoes are JUICY, not grainy
-Tomatoes are succulently sweet

Top these vine-ripened, yellow slicing tomatoes on a burger. Scatter them atop a salad. Or turn them into a sunny salsa!

Greetings local food lovers!

Do your cooking a favor this week and order some large, freshly harvested and incredibly delicious garlic from Thistle Whistle Farm: $2 a head for Bogatyr, Music, Purple Glazer, Brown Tempest & Persian Star varieties!

Process with some basil to take pesto to a whole new level! Or spread some roasted bulbs on Luna Bakery bread for a divine bruschetta.
